Well, when our General Manager gets going, he really gets going. I received a call this morning about a new magazine he had in mind. Some research had already been done. So much for having a day off. I doubt he is taking a day off. So, here we go.
This magazine will be a six-part series chronicling the complete lives of John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Jacqueline Lee Bouvier. The more our small team delved into the history of both people, the more we were intrigued by their backgrounds. For example, we never knew that Jacqueline had been engaged to someone else and was meant to be married six months later.
This is a combined effort from all of us here, including our freelance staffers. A lot of digging into their individual lives had to be done.
Most of all, we wanted this to be a different magazine.
A lot of photos are going to make up this story. The next issue will come out in July 2025.
As we continue our journey, we will have a lot more to say about their parallel upbringings.
This is not just about them becoming the first family in the United States. Rather, their early lives and how they eventually became such a formidable team to start the run for the White House and then win will be the focus.
